
Alma have fitted out traditional folk music in some groovy modern clothes, yet without dressing it up as something it isn’t: Julia, Matteo, Marlene, Evelyn and Marie-Theres play the violin, the double bass and the accordion, they sing and yodel, imbued with cheerfulness and humor, with passion and melancholy.
Ángela Tröndle and Pippo Corvino started their musical collaboration in early 2016 through the internet, writing and arranging songs together without having met each other in person.


The vocal ensemble Trio Mediaeval was founded by Linn Andrea Fuglseth in Oslo in 1997. For sixteen years, the three original members Anna Maria Friman, Linn Andrea Fuglseth and Torunn Østrem Ossum constituted the trio.
Founded in 1991 by Johannes Hiemetsberger, CHORUS SINE NOMINE is one of Austria’s leading vocal ensembles. They perform at well-known festivals all over the world.


The Tanzhausgeiger play ‘dirty’ traditional dance music. These five full-blooded musicians had already known each other for a long time when they formed the Tanzhausgeiger about four years ago.
Dreamers’ Circus released their first album, ‘A Little Symphony’ in June 2013. 13 of their own compositions recorded with special guests: the elite Danish String Quartet; 13-piece brass band European Travelling Brass Carnival and Indian bansuri master Rishab Prasanna.

Helene Blum & Harald Haugaard are among Denmark’s finest and most busy artists with more than 500 performances during the past six years, most of them abroad. Their band consist of cellist Kirstine Elise Pedersen, guitarist Mikkel Grue and percussionist Sune Rahbek, and together they unite all aspects and dynamics of Blum and Haugaard’s repertoire.

Villa Wunder (eng.: villa miracle) is a contemporary music-theatre piece for kids aged 5 and older.


With a unique consistency and precision, four individual voices blend together as a single entity. Kraja have created their own musical universe: meditative, touching and poetic, which has enthralled audiences as well as critics.
Lukas Lauermann, born in Vienna in 1985, works as a live and studio musician, arranger and composer, collaborating with bands and artists such as e. g. Donauwellenreiter, Ritornell, Soap&Skin, ALASAC, Mimu Merz and Der Nino aus Wien.


Certainly, there are lots of reasons to be excited about fairy-tales. They can awaken the child in us. They are downright smart, entertaining, and imaginative. And although these stories might be ancient, yet they still have so much to tell us.
Stubenmusic. The »Stube« is the parlor or best room in a farmhouse, usually paneled in wood, a place where people go to have a rest, to celebrate, to mourn, and to make music.


Simon Zöchbauer is an Austrian trumpeter, composer, improviser, singer and zither player. He was born in 1988 in Herzogenburg, Lower Austria, where he started his musical career at the local music school.
It would be a little bit too easy to brand Sixtus Preiss only as a jazzman. He offers more than that. As a producer he oscilates between razorsharp drums, lush layers of synth and a clear and precise idea of a hook line.


Strings & Bass combines classical virtuosity with relentless groove, complex compositions with colourful improvisation, and absolute perfection with the primal musicality of folk music.
The Unisonus ensemble was founded in 2014 and focuses on dance music and songs from the region of Bavaria, Austria and Bohemia and uses a variation of traditional instruments.


The acclaimed jazz/improv/groove/funk combo KOMPOST 3 and Mira Lu Kovacs, vocalist and leader of the Amadeus Award-winning band Schmieds Puls, are making a shared excursion into airy, cinematic, downtempo pop.
