Now she has broken new ground and with \u201cPartir\u201d she has recorded a completely solo album for the first time. Without a doubt, it is her most intimate work to date. The Tirana-born singer interprets a wide variety of songs from various sources and accompanies herself on the piano, guitar or frame drum. Traditional music from Albania, Kosovo, Armenia, Macedonia, Switzerland and Arabian-influenced Andalusia can be found on Partir. But also songs like \u201cJe ne sais pas\u201d by Jacques Brels, \u201cMeu Amor\u201d by Alain Oulmans or \u201cLet Us Dive In\u201d, which she wrote herself. A feeling of longing runs like a red thread through all songs – triggered by Duni’s unique voice and the reduced arrangements.
